Alright so this has probably already been discussed somewhere on here but i don't feel like searching for it.

Which is a better school for Chemical engineering?
anyone with any experience at either colleges who knows something about living there and the type of work, a little help in deciding which is a better investment would be greatly appreciated.

i’m looking to apply to those schools also. i’m just gonna list a few things i know about them.

Clarkson is in a large sized town, neighboring SUNY Potsdam. Its in the middle of nowhere pretty much. they have a good engineering program from what i here. Recently, i heard that a guy from around where i live went to a community college (MVCC), then Clarkson for chemical engineering, then went to RPI for his MBA. Now, he is the CEO of his company (he started as an engineer at first) that sells Indium globally. Just don’t get sucked into drinking a lot up there, even though that is pretty much all you can do for fun at Clarkson.

I haven’t heard much about RIT, its a big school, ugly campus, and it is near a city, thats all i know.

Clarkson is more expensive, has approx. 2,000+ undergrads, and RIT has 13,000+ undergrads, i think they have the same student:faculty ratio as well.

that is kinda all i know but i’m also having trouble deciding which engineering schools i want to go to.
