<p>starting in houston texas we are plannin on goin up towards quebec canada, head west through canada a little ways, and go south through minnesota or wisconsin or somethin aroudn there.</p>
<p>Any ideas of must-see-places on teh way up there through the us?

<p>I don't know off-hand, but I think its cool that you are doing this. My own d and most kids I know only want to go to Europe and don't see the appeal of a road trip here in the US. Happy trails!</p>
<p>Well, if you plan to go through Minnesota, the Mall of America is fun if you like shopping or whatever. Also, in Wisconsin they have the House on the Rock, I've been there and it's really cool.

<p>I'd make a stop in Duluth, Minnesota just because it's pretty cool. If you want to do a bit of outdoor hiking the Superior Hiking Trail is pretty cool. The Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota might be worth checking out as well. Also Gooseberry Falls is something worth seeing.</p>
