Thanks, and congrats to you! Best of luck.

thank you so much!

congrats, claire. im so jealous :-)

I didn't make it either. Oh well, I didn't really like the program (too structured for me and I don't like having to switch campuses) so I'm not disappointed. Plus I was a semi for UNC, not Duke, and I don't really wanna go to UNC. And, this means I don't have a conflict with another scholorship weekend on March 29th! hahaha I'm like excited to be rejected! good luck to all the finalists - it really is a great opportunity and you guys are amazing!!!

damn it. i didnt make it either. sigh. i really wanted to be one too. i seriously hope that sounding excited and crap was not actually a big deal in the whole thing. i knew i wasn't going to make it after my terrible interview. my killer sinuses + super sore throat + runny nose made me ssound like i was dead. lets just hope that this is not a sign of things to come.

to the other semis, what were your interviews like? were all of them like: "so, i see _______ on your app, tell me about it".

anyone have any idea about whats a better sign of things to come in late march? a likely letter from duke or being a semi for the robertson @ unc and no more?

yeah mostly about my application.. like elaborating on things they liked, talking about what leadership means to me, what I can bring to duke, etc.

I made finalist status at UNC!!! YAY! I think a big thing in the phone interviews was making sure u didnt just expand on stuff in the app but on other experiences as well, also demonstrating knowledge and excitement about the program values seemed to be important.
