Accepted but…worried about the Aid. Can’t start cheering until that comes, since I can’t go if it’s too expensive anyway ;w;

Such a relief.
I’ve been on step 4 for months. Hopefully that means I’ll be hearing sooner rather than later. My heart is honestly quite hardened to Rochester at this point, though. Getting accepted hasn’t exactly crossed my mind in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully Rochester will release its decisions tomorrow so I can finally have some peace.

What time does Rochester send out emails notifying applicants to check their portals?
My son’s email was sent at 4:30 pm ET. He actually received the snail notification a few hours before…but not everyone had their mailed admission before the email (since postal delivery is so unpredictable).
I dont think anyone has mentioned it but I know two waves of rejections have been out already since like 10 days ago. two of my friends were rejected in each

i was on step 1 exactly a week ago, now i’m at step 4 already…My anxious self is convinced its a bad thing. I honestly think that i’m moving up fast because they rejected me. I’ll post whether i get rejected because i’m sure ill get a decision soon.

Can people who have gotten in please tell what school they applied to? I know a couple of my friends applied arts and sciences but none of the people I know who applied to engineering, including me, have been notified. Anyone else??

I’m currently on step 4, but I haven’t even checked until today as I was not aware of the 5 step process. It’s an interesting way of doing admissions. I have a 1950 SAT and 3.5/4, did not apply for fin. aid. When do you think I will hear back (chances also welcome)?
I know of 2 acceptances to engineering.
There are two rochester regular decision threads. One is results only and the there is this one. I am so confused. It looks like based on the other thread some people heard over the weekend or yesterday. Has anyone on this thread heard a decision recently? I am getting so nervous and really anxious

They said to fill out the Alternate List reply form, but I cant find it. Anyone have tips?

D was accepted into the URochester chemical engineering program about two weeks ago. I think she heard by mail first, then got an email that her status had been updated. However, the server crashed so it was good that she had received the package.
It’s still pretty early, and I think they are sending acceptances out in batches, so don’t give up hope yet!!
@JalapenoGreens , do you have an end of the alphabet last name by any chance? Maybe batches are going out that way?
