My son received his acceptance letter via snail mail March 2, he says he never got an email alert, but he’s a bit of a space cadet about his email. He received notification about his scholarship - Deans scholarship $18k, on March 10, on myroc, but he still has not received an email about the rest of the financial aid package. I’m not expecting much, but do want to see what they are offering in terms of loans, work study etc. Like I said, he sometimes misses stuff in his email but I’ve asked him to search and this seems like a long wait from time he received his acceptance. I guess We will have to call financial aid Monday if we still don’t receive anything.
International student here! Till now none of my friends who applied to Rochester have got any mails yet. Based on what Rochester tweeted, the mails have been sent out THREE DAYS AGO. Any international students here received any mail or email recently? Sharing would be appreciated! 
@wallowant i am an international student and I havent heard back yet! But my friend in school recieved a rejection email a few weeks back. It was directly in the email he didnt have to like go to any portal or something.

International student here and still have not heard from Rochester yet! It has been almost four days after the office sent out the mails and how long could DHL takes to deliver the files?!

I am an international student. Could anyone tell me when the decisions might be posted? I think I’m already rejected given my paltry SAT score (M690 - CR660 - W590), my GPA is around 3.9-3.91. I know a rejection is on its way and I just want to get this over with.
@bangladesh1997 I am an international applicant from Bangladesh as well. Your SAT score is a bit low but your GPA is really good…And Rochester looks at the overall application which includes the essay and ECA as well. They put great emphasis on the two. So you still have a great chance.

Haven’t heard any thing yet… Where are you guys? Korea? China? Is there any difference between countries considering the time taken for mailing?
Have any of the international students got any acceptance information from mail, email or the school portal yet? It’s so hard to keep calm and wait for the results!!! My heart…
I don’t know if international students get emails or not (I would assume they do). But, call admissions, or email them…they’ve been very responsive. If you are not sure how and or when you’ll be notified, ask…the worst they can say is we aren’t able to release that info at this time. Also, are you all checking your myRoc accounts?
Someone from Bangladesh got in with 10k scholarship back in early March.

I didn’t receive a letter and there’s no update posted on my portal but I do have something that says “alternate list reply form.” does this mean I’m waitlisted?
@emchda I searched for “alternate list reply form” on Google and I found this
It does say in the rochester link that “I understand that the Class of 2018 is currently full. However, I am still interested in enrolling at Rochester in Fall 2014 if space in the class becomes available.”
So I am unsure. Just because it appears on your account though does not mean it applies to you.

Thanks for sharing, @emchda! I just checked my myroc and I don’t have anything unusual on it, which is kind of disappointing because I was hoping that maybe they were giving out sneak peaks of our admission decisions! At this point, I have absolutely no idea whether I’ll be accepted, waitlisted, or denied.
Also, if its on your account, I’d assume it applies to you.
