I’ve been wondering about this for a bit. BTW I’m a high school junior. I know American has rolling admissions and that means that there’s no set date for decisions to be mailed, the thing that confused me as well is that AU also has ED. Does that mean I can send in my application really early and get my decision before ED students get theirs?

hummm... i didn't know that AU was also rolling....

but yeah potentially that could happen. Last year when I was applying to schools... me & a friend of mine applied to SUNY Binghamton. I applied EA and he applied using the rolling admissions circuit. Well the idea of rolling is that they get an app and send it back ASAP. So I applied EA, he applied useing the rolling system, and even though the deadline for rolling was after the deadline for EA... he heared back before i did!!!!

so if AU is rolling then yeah that can potentially happen...

AU is definitely not rolling, the deadline is 1/15. The ED deadline was 11/15.

American definitely doesn't have rolling admissions. One of the admissions officers and I talked about the admission process during my interview.
