Mung? yeah gross.

haha no I'm not mung beans. My name is just the first initial of my first name+my last name. My friends gave me this nickname and it just kinda stuck to me.

what floor is F67 on for tioga hall ?

It's the fourth floor

(: No, 5th floor! 0-49 = 4th floor, 50-80 (or something) = 5th floor.

You're on my floor, mrxalleycat!

if F house is 4 and 5. does that make E house 3 floors?

o_o... I guess? Not sure. But I was pretty sure F-house is 4th and 5th...

But on that trail of thinking, that doesn't make sense...
F house = 4 + 5
E house = 2 + 3
... WHAT HAPPENED TO D HOUSE?

G = 6 + 7
H = 8 + 9
... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 10TH FLOOR?

Ok, I must be wrong.

D house is 8 floor in tenaya

g house = 5-6? h = 7-8? j = 9-10?

Jay Kay! Seems that you were right, mrxalleycat. F-house is 3rd and 4th floor. SURPRISE, ME.

theres no I house?

That'd be ERCs International House ;)

for those of you who seem to be having a hard time stomaching the fact that you'll be living with two other people i want to give you guys a little summary of my living situation. honestly, i really don't care that much that i kind of got screwed over, but i think it's kind of a good story. anyways, i'll be living in one of the Student Association rooms which are located in every house (i believe). i'm told that the room is in the hallway of the floor so i'm pretty sure it's the room just to the side of that whole living room area. they turned it into a temporary dorm room and i will have to go to other people's suites just to go to the bathroom or take a shower. then, whenever the space becomes available i'm going to be moved into a Plus-1 room with people i don't know. oh, yea...this is the tioga building at muir.

go muir! (no sarcasm)

wait, are you saying they're turning the lounge into a room? does that mean you have no door? or is it like, a meeting-room type thing. anyway, that sounds quite interesting.

the lounge isn't going to be a room, but i think it's a room just off to the side of the lounge. i can't seem to find it anywhere online that shows the muir floor plan, but i'm pretty sure that's what it was. i think it's just a small room for clubs to use for whatever reason. it seems to me like it would have to be a fairly large room to be used for clubs and things of that sort so hopefully it's not all bad. i kind of hope i don't like the roommate i have now so i can be happy to move out when the time comes. also, i am kind of curious to see if it becomes awkward to walk back and forth between my room and the shower since i'll be having to pass by the lounge in little more than a towel.

buy a bathrobe ;)

haha. it will be like you and the others in your situation will be the only students in ucsd to experience the "normal" reshall dorm life of walking around in towels and the like.

and for some reason, when i picture a meeting room/gathering room, i see a door with a huge window in it. haha. i know it won't have that, but still.

dang i want a double but they turn it to a plus 1 (triple)...it is going to be a challenge concentrating on my studies and doing hw...i hope they move the 3rd wheel before class starts... but $2.12 pro rate payment seems alrite.... what do you guys think?
