A single is a drop in the bucket more than a double if you really wanted a single.

I would have done the same so I wouldn't have to bother my roommate (my friend from HS) with all late night crap since he usually goes to sleep early and I go to sleep late :

Well I got my prices awhile back ago (admit day I think). Since your prices are straight from the contract, I'd say lets go with those haha. Either way it's not much of a difference.

And yea I chose to go for the single for the reason that I'm always up late; at orientation I ended up going back to my room at 4 in the morning and I woke up the roommate I had for the night :/ haha. He was really nice about the whole thing though. Instead of being angry at me for waking him up, he was concerned about ME; he was like "are you okay dude?" I was like "wt f?!" lmao

a bunch of people were at someone elses suite just talking pretty much; so we were all just sharing stories (some people were doing more than that though haha)...

Some guys got caught drinking! At orientation! School hasn't even started yet...they couldn't wait (sigh) haha. It was pretty dumb on their part. This was all at ERC by the way.

the reason they got caught was because they went OUTSIDE the suite and went running around and screaming like idiots...they were so obviously drunk lmao

there was a shortage of singles? at Warren orientation, they basically said you probably wouldn't get one..but i requested it. so that means i should be able to get one? yay..it's not too bad since 4 other ppl in the res hall have singles too, i dont think it'll be that isolated...and the privacy is a plus. but i wouldn't mind if i get a double. now a triple...no.

I don't remember Warren Orientation saying anything about a Single being impossible...In fact, we have insanely high chances; 4 out of every 9 should get singles considering the suite model. Of course, at the same time, 3 out of every 9 will be getting a triple.....

44.4% Single
22.3% Double
33.3% Triple

Freshman get priority over Sophomores with the Resident Halls too, if I remember correctly, so seniority shouldn't be an issue. Also, consider some freshmen will even try for Apartments. Overall the chances should be a little better for Singles, and a little worse for triples.

(Considering that for every suite one double will be transformed into a triple. It seems unlikely that every suite will have a triple)

I'm curious as to why you decided to announce your "straightness" while admitting you'd like a lesbian roommate; you announced it out of nowhere pretty much...interesting ;)

16399, you're the ultimate hoebag. i want a lesbian roomate bc it would be really cool. i'd rather have a gay roommate, but since ucsd won't let that happen, the lesbian is as good as it'll get.

wayytoo - i guess the fact that ucsd has ulgy girls would matter since they find you repulsive. yeah?

Annnd that was confusing. As in I purposely went to the school with less attractive women for a chance? Not a bad plan =P Wasn't on my mind when I chose here though.

And I've been the one arguing from the start its the guys of SD that are pretty bad anyhow, not the girls =P

yes I AM a hoebag...but you have to admit, it WAS pretty funny, especially at this time of night lmao. calm down...i hope you're not actually ticked off.
