Room Selection?!

<p>I'm going to be a second year living in the dorms next year (Unit 2 mini-suites...so I guess in Towle), and I know that we get to choose our rooms in a telebears-like fashion (my start date is May 4 12:15) so I was wondering:</p>

<ol>
<li><p>When does room selection start; with my date, will I have a decent chance of being on the 6th floor with the big windows?</p></li>
<li><p>It said each applicant will be randomly assigned a date, and my roommates and I requested each other, so how do we coordinate getting our rooms if each of us has a different selection date? Will someone else be able to request our room if only one of us has signed up for our room, since the other's dates haven't arrived yet?</p></li>
</ol>

<p>I have a feeling it will be hard to find someone to answer these questions since no one lives on campus after the first year......</p>

<p>oh wait, nevermind, i figured out the question to the first one…apparently it’s pretty good since it’s only a few hours after the start time!</p>

<p>But I still don’t know the answer to the second one!!!</p>

<p>It’ll show you a floor plan and will tell you who is already in that room. So unless someone sees that there is already one person in the room but signs up for it anyway, you’ll be fine.</p>
