<p>I am transferring to a university from community college. I'm pretty sure when I got my acceptance letter from the college, they said that I should be getting my rooming assignments in late June or early July. But I still haven't received anything yet! And another guy that's transferring to the same school told me that he didn't receive anything either!
When did you get your rooming assignments from the college you go to in your freshman year, (or when you were a new student at a college)?</p>
<p>My colllege doesn’t give out our rooming assignments until July 29.</p>
<p>Mine doesn’t give them out until August 12th and I move in the 24th. >_<</p>
<p>Hey I recently had the same problem too and I emailed my transfer counselor. He told me to look on my student account of the uni and it should be on housing status. It turned it was but I had to finish choosing my meal plan options before it showed up. So yea definitly email someone at the uni about it if you’re still having trouble.</p>

<p>I didn’t get my info until mid-July, which is when they’ve decided to give info to everybody this year.</p>

<p>I move in August 17th (transfer student too) and I don’t recieve mine until “mid-July or early August”. Im really anxious to find out.</p>

<p>Yesterday my mom called the residential line at my college, and was told that I would receive my rooming assignment today on the website. But the only thing on the website is my meal plan! There is no rooming assignments!
And I know I inquired about getting a dorm room, because when I tried to resubmit my application (just to be sure I completed it), it said that I already completed it a few months ago.</p>
<p>I received mine yesterday. Move-in day is August 16th!</p>
<p>I received my rooming & roommate assignment May 13th but I was one of the lucky ones. People who did not turn in their housing contracts early had to wait until mid-June while the really late ones are still waiting for their assignments and are probably going end up getting there’s in August a few days before school starts.</p>
<p>So when is everybody going to organize whos bringing what to the dorm with their roommate?</p>
<p>I dealt with that before this last school year ended. I’m bringing most of the big stuff, which is fine with me.</p>
