Site says they'll be up tomorrow for TMC and some of the colleges. Woot! I heard that ERC's says Sept. 1st though.
To find out go here: UC San Diego Housing - Fall Room Assignment 2009
About 15 minutes ago clicking login took me to a page that said the info will be up on Tuesday August 25th. Now clicking on it takes me nowhere...lol
That may just be for TMC students, what happens when you click login ?

Room assignments will be posted up tomorrow for all colleges I think. Everyone: GET 2 IT!!!

What’s the rush? Sure we’re all curious, but it’s not like finding out any sooner will change anything. It is what it is.

^
agreed 10char

^SOME people need to get more exciteddddddd!!! You’re getting your first college roommate you should be freaking out!! Get spirited everyone, UCSD is FUN :)

Saving the freakout for registration…Late on the 27th, not optomistic.

Yeah that sucks. Well, it’s only one quarter, just keep that in mind. You will most likely be able to get the classes you want through waitlisting - just be prepared for ****ty times (evening or early morning)

can’t wait for this!! super excited for tomorrow woo!!! And not so much for registration… (Aug 28 ><)

yeahh i know what you mean, i register on the 27th at 10
i’ll be optimistic though and just take what’s thrown at me

mine is on 27th too =.=

Does it seem to anyone else that if you add up all the seats in classes open to freshman, there aren’t nearly enough spaces to offer all freshman 12-16 units? There are an awful lot of freshman.

wait wait, did you really do the math?

haha, what do you do with the rest of your free time

No, I didn’t do the math. But in looking for alternative classes for the ones I actually want, it just seems like there aren’t incredibly many classes that are open to freshmen and many of them only take 35-50 people. Of those, since upper classman may be taking intro level courses in subjects that are not their majors in order to fulfill their GE requirements, many of those spaces are already filled. It’s just a guesstimate but it seemed like not that many spots considering how many incoming students there are.

^Don’t worry it really all works out. Not everyone has the same major and needs to take the same classes.

agreeed with poster above… well i hope that works out…

Post your room assignments :]

**** yes. SINGLE. I WIN.
