I am not self pitying myself-If you knew me in person, you would know I’m not that kind of person. I will still be attending UCF, I will enjoy my college experience, and I will do well. However, I want you to know one. Will your threads, you can always except a negative comment from someone. Is it because we’re rude? No. Jealous? Not all.

It’s because some of the obtuse things you say. However, I’m done. Trying to get common sense thoughts into your head is like trying to fix this economy-nearly impossible. Good luck with this roommate situation, and I wish you the best of luck in gaining acceptance into UF or FSU.

I’m sorry if I offended anybody with my post, I guess I was just in a bad mood. You’re all nice people.

Anyways, good luck with the roommate situation. I hope you get paired with somebody who meets your expectations!

Well, almost all of us…

Perhaps you should schedule an appointment with housing administrators to voice your concerns. “Umm, hey, UCF is my last fallback school and it looks like I might have to settle. If I lived on campus, could you see to it that you don’t give me any roommates who act gay or are gay? Also, I want your most socially-outgoing roommates; ones that aren’t prone to watching excessive amounts of television.”

College is meant to be a turning point in your life; from adolescence into adulthood. It’s time to grow up.

This thread was entertaining to read. ProblemOfChoice, you’re hilarious. Esp., that craiglist post and the picture, LOL!

OP, perhaps the best words of advice may be to change your attitude. Your roommate is not there to ‘serve your needs’ as you say.

You have little to no chance of getting on campus housing as a transfer anyways.
