I know the website says in August, but do they really wait that long to tell us our roommates? (For those of us that got doubles, that is) I AM DYING TO KNOW!!

S, were you told you got a double already?

For the rest of us, what did y'all request and when did you send in your deposit? I heard requests are ordered by ED1, ED2 and then the order of RD deposits.

I am PRAYING for a girl single. My parents sent in the deposit really close to the decision deadline. Hopefully I still have a shot.

Yep, they wait that long. If you requested a single, there's still a change you'll get a double, but if you requested a double, you'll most likely get it. Not sure how they do the order, but that would make sense. There are some ED people though, like me, who request doubles, thus giving some RD kids a shot at a single.

If you've requested a double, its highly unlikely that you'll be given a single. Singles are the ones tough to get, so yeah, Sunnie most probably (like me) will get a double if he has requested for one.

I'm dying to know as well!

You will get your roommate information in late July at the earliest. I have never heard of someone requesting a double and being forced into a single. I think its pretty rare that the opposite occurs as well, I know some guys and girls who were forced into sub-free halls cause those were the only singles left but no one who was forced into a double - do you Morgan?

Dima,
I never heard of anyone being forced into a double on the sub-free hall.

not what i said, i said guys who wanted singles were forced to take singles in subfree halls because they ran out of regular singles

Any girls forced into sub-free halls? Which dorms had those halls? Do you have to live by the rules if you didn't ask to be placed there?

Yes

Last year it was Baker and Gilliam

Only rules that might be different from a regular hall might be different quiet hours, which yes you would have to follow
