Does anyone know anything about Roosevelt University? I am not transferring for music though. Is the college in a good location? Are the dorms nice? Are the classes good? Any information about Roosevelt University in Chicago would really help.

It’s in a very nice location, in the Chicago Loop. It’s close to Millennium Park and other tourist attractions (which means that the city is committed to keeping it safe), and also to multiple Metra (commuter rail) and El (subway) lines. There are plenty of luxury condominiums all over the same area.

If you want to rent an apartment rather than live in a dorm and if you don’t have a huge housing budget, you would probably want to find something that was some distance away with easy access to public transportation, because housing in that area is expensive (but there are plenty of colleges and universities in Chicago, so you might be able to find a student-friendly neighborhood even if it isn’t full of Roosevelt students). And depending on where you’re from, you might not really enjoy waiting outdoors for a train in the middle of winter. That is the main thing I can think of that I would warn a student about.

Thank you nontraditional.
