<p>I can't believe no one else has commented on this yet! Been 23 years since the Illini have gone to the Bowl, hasn't it? All my MI friends are flipping out, and there's likely to be a mass caravan of Illini fans headed towards California.</p>
<p>We're excited around here!! I went when Illinois was last in the Rose Bowl and my son got his ticket today. We are working on ours with a group; should be a blast!</p>

<p>Yeah, it's awesome. I made my family give up our summer vacation so that we could go to Pasadena. My dad was silly enough to bet me last year that if Illinois went to a bowl, we would go. I wish i could've used that in my essay.</p>
