what GPA is needed after your freshmen year to get into ross?

The average GPA last year was 3.59. However, this year Ross pre-admitted 90 freshmen, so I'm not sure what that is going to do to the competition for fewer spots. Also, I understand it will depend on your course load.

Yes, 90 people pre-admitted will lessen the number of spots. But it will also lessen the number of extremely qualified applicants!

Wouldn't the preadmit people likely have gotten in no matter what, thus not having any actual effect on who gets in and who doesn't?

True and agreed

Dilsky, you are missing a piece of the puzzle. Some of the pre-admits (me, for example) would have gone somewhere else were it not for the pre-admit program. In fact, that was one of the purposes of the program, to get people that otherwise might not have gone to Michigan. Sure, some of the pre-admits (maybe most) would have gone to Michigan anyway and gotten into Ross. I'm not saying the pre-admits will be a huge factor, but it should, in theory, be a piece of the puzzle. In the end, the only circumstantial evidence we will have is the Ross admissions statistics next year.

Alright, makes sense. I know very little about the Bschool, as Bschool amounts to selling out amongst my pure science friends.
