How much harder is it for freshman in the College of Engineering to get accepted into the Ross BBA program as regular admits? For example, quota size, GPA, extracurriculars, etc. Thanks

They would take into account that engineers have harder classes, so a lower GPA would be more acceptable. Everything else would be roughly the same I imagine.

Thanks
Also, is it common for engineers to be accepted into Ross as regular admits?

Ross doesn’t release those specific statistics as far I know.

jayready, you’re held to the same standards in ECs and extracurriculars, but you have more wiggle room with GPA. From what I’ve heard, a greater proportion of engineers who apply get in, opposed to LSA kids. Keep in mind this is more likely due to the types of kids who apply from each school (I’m inclined to believe that there are more non-serious students in LSA who apply to Ross on a whim than there are from Engineering). Plus, engineers may perform better in quantitative classes than the average LSA kid.

@KyleTwentyEleven and @fluffymonkey, thanks a lot for clarifying!
