<p>Although I will be applying for PA at Ross, my chances are pretty slim. I will be applying as an economics major. I have a fair shot at being admitted to UMich, but I don't know if I will make the cut for LSA Honors. My UM GPA is a 3.7 and 32 ACT.</p>
<p>Are most of the kids who apply to Ross in LSA Honors? Or are they just LSA students?</p>
<p>honors sure as hell helps However its not a requirement I've known people to get into Ross from lsa regular as well as engineering don't worry about it although last year the did look at applicants high school record as well as their first year apps</p>
<p>lsa honors is very numbers driven, but you still have a shot at it if you write a really good essay.</p>
<p>A friend tells me that LSA Honors helps a great deal in Ross decisions. I'd say you're on the threshold for Honors College, but a good essay will definitely put you over the edge.</p>
<p>You don't need to be in Honors to get into Ross regular admit, but you will need to do extremely well as a freshman. My D was not honors but got in to Ross with a 3.9+ freshman year and great essays.</p>
<p>Agreed. You definitely don’t need to be in honors, although it looks alot nicer. I’m in honors, got rejected, oh well! To be safe, you need at least a 3.5+ GPA. I unfortunately didn’t take that very seriously. YOUR GPA’S REALLY IMPORTANT regardless of which college you’re in.</p>
<p>Make sure you take hard classes though. I got in with a 3.3, but took mostly engineering classes</p>
