Ross School of Business - Your Experiences

^^^Dam it you say? Is HBS located on the Charles River?

Ok, this is really getting on my nerves.

I will agree that Engineering courses are harder. I agree that Engineers spend more time studying than Ross students on average, and I would much rather take intermediate accounting than upper level physics and computer science courses (not only because I’m more interested in accounting but also because physics and computer science courses tend to be more challenging as well). BUT WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO MOCK BUSINESS SCHOOL KIDS AND THE COURSES AT ROSS??? This is a thread about what current business school students think about Ross, not about complaining how IOE is harder than OMS or how we have a lenient grading system (which I repeat, is not that lenient given the intense competition between b-school kids). Yes, engineering is hard, but so is the business school in its own right. You will argue that students at Ross have higher GPA’s (which is true) but at the same time we are competing against students with equally high, and in many cases even higher GPA’s. Ultimately it is the same - whether you are in Ross or in Engineering. You need to work your butt off in order to stand out.

^ If there was a like button on these forums, I would click on it
