@greenfrogmemes what r ur stats
My decision date is still there and I went to their fly-in program (STAR) in October and had an interview that went really well
My son visited and the date still shows too
@greenfrogmemes Not so. We visited twice.
well, there goes my theory lol
Mines still there but I didn’t have a campus visit, it was way too far
Date is still there for my son. We did not visit.
Date is still there for my son and he is a Rensselaer medal winner. I guess it is still possible he wouldn’t get in but I would be surprised as he had a visit as well.
Date is still there for me. I was sent a handwritten letter 2 weeks after submitting my application.
If your son is a Rensselaer medal winner is it even possible for him to get rejected, not including extreme situations? That’s the award that gives him a pretty good scholarship right?
Ya I visited and still have the March 10th there, I think it’s probably just a glitch in the system. We will hear tomorrow at 7pm.
I didn’t visit, and my date is gone. Although I did make sure my ambition for the engineering field showed through, so that may be a reason. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!! Tomorrow when we find out post stats please
Anyone know what the email for RPI’s registrar is?
I agree it is probably a glitch but of the people who have commented on having or not having the date, I was able to find stats on 10 of them (which they had self reported reported in various threads):
8 people have SAT/ACT scores above the average* for RPI and they DO have the date showing
2 people have SAT/ACT scores below the average* for RPI and they DO NOT have the date showing
*the average shown in the common data set
My stats are below. But they still sent me the hand written letter that they really liked my application. Weird?
@anonymous_otter127 Above average stats are a good indicator, but I would argue a handwritten letter is an even better indicator, so I would group you with the likely candidates…and your portal still shows the date. If this the date is a “tell” then it looks like having the date show on the portal is a good sign.
Decisions are probably going to come out @ 7pm EST, not anytime at 12:00 am…
Someone on Reddit got their date removed with a 1440 and a 3.9, so it’s probably a glitch.
We’re in the home stretch everybody. 11 hours and counting
@3musketeers Is this the date you are referring to? Upper right where it says “Decision Notification: March 10th” over major?
