does the supplement have an aditional essay?

i just got an email for the supplement. yes, there is an essay. is the supplement good for all three places or do you think EACH place will need its own one?

no its just one supplement for all three

for all two, I believe siena has a different format from Union and RPI.

so any updates????

I got a rejection letter from RPI.

sorry to hear that, ood luck for other programs

Hey Matrixbloated....could you by any chance post your stats or what kind of stats Union is looking for? I put up a new thread for Union Med Program so you can put it there. Thanks!

the letter says 44 are called back for interviews out of the pool of 350+

is thatj ust for ONE prog or all three?
and is the 350+ the number of ppl who recieved a supplement?

no 350 people applied to one of the three programs (i don't know which one he/she is referring to) and 44 received supps to continue onto round two with Albany Medical College (the person's either referring to RPI or Union, Siena has different method of review)

i have gotten nothing from union...anyone else?

only 44 received the supplement...? how many do they interview from that batch???

that doesnt make sense at all... another person said that 400-500 apply, 100 invited for interview, 35 accepted/waitlisted, and 20 attend

but i would still like to know how many ppl receive the supplement...

i never knew about supplement.i did common app and sup.anything more

jashbela,

they will send the supplement to you after they review your application.

wow, haven't posted in like almost a year....buuuut i guess it wouldn't hurt to give input to the current hs seniors...

i got into rpi/amc last year and from the looks of it, it got harder cuz i was told that albany had like 100 interviewees and took about 59 for the three combined, so congrats to those who got the supplement, must've been mad hard.

PipingHotTofu, are you currently in RPI/AMC? If so, how is your undergraduate experience so far at RPI? I am curious about the school because I have an interview but no time to visit RPI due to school and other time constraints. Thanks in advance.

The 44/350 is for the Siena program. Those who got the letter need to make their appointment for an interview and have their AMC supplement within a week of the email that was sent for them.
