oh sorry about the confusion, it was Siena/AMC I was talking about. The letter starts like so:
Congratulations! After reviewing over 350 applications, I am pleased to inform you that you have been nominated as one of the 44 finalists for the Siena COllege/ Albany Medical College Program in Science, Humanities, ....

The 44 people nominated recieve the AMC supplement through email.
RPI email did not say how many applied or how many were given AMC supplements.

The union letter said that they've forwarded your appilcation to AMC and that we'd be hearing from AMC shortly. Then it says to reply if you'd like to be considered for Union's undergrad if you dont get into 8 year program.

ok question. i got the supplement by email for RPI and Union (in separate e-mails...one was in december, one was last night). i also got a letter (snail mail) from Siena saying i was rejected. so since i got the email, does that mean im farther in the process? how many people get the email for each school?? (RPI/Union/Siena)

hey... can the people who received siena/amc interviews post their stats up. I got rejected from the interview, so I was just wondering who I was up against. Thanks.

The Siena program really emphasizes Humanitarians so if you had any type of social work, your chances dramatically increase.
I don't really do the stats thing but I can tell you that I got below a 2000 on my SATs, below 700 on all my 3 SAT IIS, and only a 30 on the ACT. Seriously, sometimes grades are not the most important things. Haha, I'm being a bit of a hypocrite because originally my idea was grades, grades, and grades. Same goes for extracurriculars. Instead of involving yourself in everything, choose 1 or 2 activities and bury yourself in them! I found out a few years back when I went to visit my cousin, who is a undergraduate interviewer, she told me it's better to be "The Master at a few trades then a Jack at all."

That happened to me too...I got the AMC supplement for my RPI application, submitted it, and maybe two days later got an interview. Around that time I also got a rejection from Sienna. I thought maybe if you're accepted to interview at one school, your chances for an interview at another go down drastically (like they dont want to fill up two potential seats at AMC with the same person) but then here i heard of some people getting interviews with both so i guess I'm wrong there?

Who got their rpi supplement on the 7th? And who got an interview?

I submitted mine on the 14th but have yet to receive a rejection or interview e-mail... shouold I just assume that I was rejected since they send you a decision in 2 days if you got an interview?
