i just got my supplement this evening!

question for those who had the rpi interview...what sorta questions did they ask about your research?

I put down that I did research, but it wasn't experimental research, rather it was research on lipitor for my organic chem class, gathering published information, doing surveys with cardiologists, pfizer reps, and comparing the statistics w/other cholesterol medicines such as vytorin, etc. It was statistics based observational research, not experimental research...so i was just wondering....

I guess I'm outta the running for this one...havent got my supplement yet

i'm bumpin this one up cuz i have it tomorrrow!

good luck piping

i just got a supplement, but i don't think i'm gonna do it

i have one march 2nd i think

has anyone received their acceptance packet from RPI

i received a "still under consideration" notification yesterday. that means i'll know if i got in by mid-april.

add in a sarcastic woohoo.

yeah, I got into the RPI and Union programs.

congrats... i got into union and an alternate for rpi

alternate as in waiting list?

yeh... as in if someone turns it down and they have a spot open i can get into rpi if i want.... but honestly, i wanted union more than rpi anyway, and i made that pretty clear in my interviews lol

For those of you who have gotten into RPI/AMC, is it possible to use your AP credits to place out of the classes in the curriculum and additionally reduce the program's total duration: from 7yrs to 6yrs for example if you have abt 30 semester credits

i am asking this because i 've heard other programs such as Rutgers doing something like this

this is crazy...people have already been accepted into the program and I'm going to have an interview in 2 weeks

I was interviewing for Union/AMC this friday - and well apparently they had me documented as a RPI/AMC AND a Union/AMC interviewee... I was like... uhhh I didn't apply to RPI.
