that really sucks.
I would mail the office and explain what happened.

Saffaron, do not worry! Call or email CEE Monday morning to tell them what happened. I'm 100% sure you won't be disqualified because of this

First I find out that I take Chem Olympiad since I'm not a citizen...now this! (for next year anyway). Can you apply as an international if you're a legal resident?

Ah, thanks for the reassurance alohasam and corinao! I think I'll e-mail CEE and explain. I know my application has been received already, so maybe the transcript will be there by Monday morning. Would Maite be the one to contact, using her info on the CEE wenbsite?

all i want is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air

226.50 dollars to get apps out today
even if I don't have the best credentials
I want to at least try
If you are not trying... then that is the onyl time you are truly failing

BTW my field of choice = Mathematics
subfield = Actuarial Science/Statistics (sampling distributions)

2nd choice
Goldbach's Conjecture

goldbach's conjecture is so beast.

i'm doing Engineering Mechanical/Electrical, (ROBOTS!) and 2nd choice was Biology Microbiology

DS1's app -- Math: discrete, Comp Sci: theoretical

YAY it's over! you may proceed to chillax now :) Good luck to everyone!

Saffaron, yes, Maite is the one you need to talk to.

ActuarialDJ, are you serious?!?!?! $226.50?!?!?! lol

woah. which carrier did you use? $266!!! that's crazy. same day mail via dhl is much cheaper.

it was DHL

I put engineering as my first primary..

and Aerospace and then Mechanical/Chemical for my second....

Praying for a miracle ;)

i cant believe i wrote 3 whole pages

i feel terrible but relieved

uh oh...
i only put down one field of choice - will this be the demise of my app?

ActuarialDJ, wow. i guess the award for the most expensive application would go to you. good luck. i really hope that you get in given how much your application cost.

doctorx017: putting down one field isn't really good. but, rsi isn't one for technicalities. i believe on an rsi pamphlet one year, cee misspelled "research." if your application is overall awesome, you'll be fine.

thanks, i emailed them just in case

i have the second field topic analysis already typed up, so if they tell me where, i'll just send it in.

hope to see you guys there!

Hello everyone :) I wish I had found this website sooner. Someone else from my school mentioned it yesterday; she applied to RSI too. Now that I look back at all the things everyone has said, I could have written a much better application. Ah well, it's too late to worry now. Good luck to everyone who applied!
