Neither did I. I don’t see the point in reporting a score that you feel doesn’t reflect yout actual math ability, when there are plenty of other scores that verify your math ability and when the PSAT happens to be the first thing they look at.
So my app should have arrived on wednesday, and I included an envelope with my address and a stamp in lieu of the postcard. Should I be worried if I haven’t received the envelope back yet?
So I kinda bombed my PSAT math section (I make the stupidest mistakes on easy math problems ._.) but I feel like I can do considerably better on the SAT 2 Math test I’m taking next Saturday. Would it be possible to send in that score?
^^ Did you submit your PSAT scores with your application? Depending on how low your PSAT math score is, I would say to send your Math 2 score when you get it and just hope for best. Hopefully, the rest of your app is very strong.
I did, as I have yet to take the SAT in March
Haha, tbh I’m fully expecting rejection, although I am hoping for a miracle! Everyone on this thread is so incredibly accomplished
Ty for your advice!
@matchachacha I’m with you on that one! I just hope that my essays appeal to the adcom…
I heard that RSI has contacted previous acceptees in early March. Is it going to be the same this year?
How long does it usually take for the postcard to return? Should I be worried if my application should have arrived on Tuesday and I have yet to get my postcard back?
@Sealteam69 I wouldn’t worry about it. It’ll prob get to you on Monday.
Just got my postcard. I’ll check back with you guys in March!
Postcard arrived today on the West coast. Handwritten note was a nice touch!
When did you mail your app? I’m worried BC I haven’t got my postcard yet…
The weekend before the friday it was due, and I got my postcard the sunday after it was due
@meaa7130 I haven’t gotten my postcard either yet and my application arrived a week ago. My state neighbors Virginia too…but I have the delivery confirmation from USPS so I don’t think we should worry.
The app arrived there the Monday before the deadline, and we just got the postcard yesterday. I wouldn’t worry. They are dealing with thousands of apps, so they are probably opening and filing them in batches.
My application was definitely received by the 15th (the USPS thing says that it got signed it at the front desk) but no post card. I still shouldn’t worry?
I got a handwritten note on my postcard too! I kind of feel sorry for the person that has to write out hundreds of these though…
Everyone who applied is supposed to get a post card back, right? thanks
@judy001 I think it’s only if you enclosed a post card when you sent it.
Has anyone heard from other programs?
