I found out about the RSI through this site, and it seems really interesting and I want to try for it.
But I've read alot of posts that say that it's really competitive to get into.
So... who gets accepted???
Do you need to have an experience in science research, olympiad, Intel and such??????
I didn't really get a chance to get involved in science research, science fairs, or any science or math competitions.... (my school just sucks in math and science) and the only thing I am doing is the Columbia Science Honors Program and I took Introduction to Proof course in Harvard (I got an A)over the summer.... and that's it basically...
Oh yeah.. and I'm the president of math club in my school and I am taking AP Calculus BC and AP Physics this year, and I am actually the only junior who takes those classes. I got 800 on Math 2C in SAT 2 and 5 on AP Cal AB. I didn't take PSAT yet, and I am currently one of the top 5 students in my school (regarding GPA) And I'm Asian and I'm not a resident or citizen of USA.
So, how does this look? Do I have a chance for RSI? Is it even worth appying for? Or is RSI a too big reach for me?
