Rumors about Exeter

Exeter DOES have Saturday Classes.

Exeter classes DO Meet until 6 PM. In fact, most people (not seniors) have classes until 6 PM.

Sports are all over the place. AKA, some meet at 8 AM some a 4 PM some at 10 AM. It depends on the sport. Classes are all the other times from 8 to 6.

Basically...all your classes aren't put in a clunk at the beginning of the day like in public schools and sports at the end. Sports meet anywhere from 8-6 as do classes.

That is all.

Any other questions I will be happy to answer.

Congratulations to your acceptance at Exeter? Were you accepted to any other schools?

I go to Exeter. ANd no. I only applied to one because the idea of a New England boarding school is ridiculous. People think we get into top colleges, we really don't. Most of us would of been better off at our old public highschools.

IF the idea of a boarding school is ridiculous would you mind expounding on your personal reasons for being at Exeter?

Becasue it's ridiculous. And it's fun. Obvs.

And what exactly is your idea of a New England boarding school?

New England boarding school (noun) - an educational institution, generally for grades 9-12, at which many or most of the students live on campus, located in New England, which is defined as the northeastern United States region containing the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

...And why does she think that's so ridiculous?

don't you think that's a bit hypocritical... to call a place where you'll be living and attending school ridiculous?

I wish I went to boarding school...

It's not future tense, it's present tense. ANd it is ridiculous. Why? Because it is. You haven't been to boarding school. You don't know. I advise you to read the book, "Prep" so you understand some of what is being said.

How is saying somewhere you live and go to school ridiculous hypocritical? It is ridiculous. You haven't been here so shut your mouth.

There's a thing taht happens when you live with a bunch of angsty teenagers. Okay? Maybe you wouldn't understand taht as a pre teen. Read Harry Potter book 6 and that'll explain the teenage angst. I love it. I love it and it's ridiculous. I love it because it is ridiculous. It's something new.

You're just dumb and I hope you're not admitted to Andover.

and that would be what? Hypocritical would be a deroggatory description of yourself........well done. Too bad you didn't know what you did.

I don't find "ridiculous" to be deroggatory in any way nor teenage angst. What is ridiculous is interesting. Interesting isn't always negative. So no.

Plus.

hypocrisy:

Noun
Inflected forms: pl.hy·poc·ri·sies 1. The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness. 2. An act or instance of such falseness.

I don't understand how that's a deroggatory description of yourself. Too bad.

you also don't notice fine distinctions when reading. Harkness must be fun with you at the table. Look closely at the word you typed in your discussion of the book Prep..

I didn't describe "Prep." Maybe you're just high and can't read. I said he should read it. <333 Harkness.

I am ashamed that you are an Exonnian.

That's cool. To each his own opinion. I'm sorry I shut down all your points :'(

Okay whatever. This post wasn't meant for this and is just gotten to the point of stupidity. Let's just say, we don't like each other and I apologize for being a ***** online. Which makes me stupid.

oh, and hypocrasy means that you accuse others of something you do. Not putting yourself down, rather putting yourself above others. Something I never did in any of my post. Calling something ridiculous doens't mean that the person saying it doesn't think of themselves as ridiculous. I never went into description of the book Prep, and the Harkness method is awesome.

so tata.

Calm down, pretty cat...

I think she's just having a bad day. :) Cheer up. :P

is it true that more than 50% of guys at exeter (and andover) are homos? the idea of male bonding is getting me so excited.
