Running for Student Council

Hey, I was just wondering whether or not it would be worth running for student council again. Just so you know, this would be my sixth time, and all five times before I’ve lost. Honestly I could care less about my class but I do want to be senior class president (I’m a junior right now). But after having done this five times and lost, the spark’s just gone. I don’t know whether I should run now and then run for senior class president this year or if I shouldn’t run for class rep and just wait until elections for senior class president.

In short, my main concern is if I don’t run for class rep, will it look bad for when I run for senior class president?

If you don’t want to run for class rep, don’t. And EC is supposed to be something you enjoy. Don’t take it up just for colleges if you’ll suffer doing it.

This indicates to me that you probably shouldn’t seek either office:

“Honestly I could care less about my class but I do want to be senior class president (I’m a junior right now).”
