Rushing Scores are Bad?

I've heard many people say that rushing sat scores to colleges is bad. I'll be taking the december 6th sat, but the deadlines for my colleges are January 15. Why exactly is it bad to rush sat score reports; is there a difference between regular and not rushing. In other words, will my december sat scores get there in time (i've just sent my 2 other sat scores (oct & nov), but i feel much more confident about the december sat)?

Not so much bad as a waste of money. Rushed scores cost a lot more and will only arrive one day earlier.

@‌Erin’s Dad thanks, I just saw how much they cost, so I might just rush one of my scores (early decision 2, lehigh) after I contact them and see if rushing is ok.

Is this a good idea? Rushing scores for 1 college isn’t a bad idea, right?

See if the school even allows it or recommends it. I wouldn’t bother.

The December SAT scores should be available on 12/23, three weeks prior to your deadline. Just send them on the 23rd and you’ll be fine.

Thank you all for helping me. My councilor confirmed that rushing is a waste of money, and that colleges will accept scores as long as they were taken the month before (usually).
