Anybody? I know 14 were accepted. Can anyone relate?

I'm a junior. Is it better to apply to Rutgers or TCNJ? both 7 years...is that right? Thanks for your advice

It depends on your personal preference. The atmosphere and the environment at TCNJ and Rutgers are completely different. I was accepted at both (not to the 7 year program, however) and decided to enroll at TCNJ because it felt like a better fit. Both are great schools though so just visit them and find out for yourself!

Do you mind telling me more about the difference between TCNJ and Rutgers? I'm from Calif, and wont be visiting the campus soon. Unless an interview is granted or acceptance in place. Thanks in advance.

highflyer, they are the same programs but at different undergraduate schools.

remember that rutgers ba/md is not at rutgers new brunswick but rutgers newark

From my perspective, Rutgers is better (but they're both very good school). Why?
1. It is larger with a lot more funding.
2. It is better known. New Jersey is known for Rutgers and Princeton.
3. There are many renowned professors, a few who even have a noble prize.
4. The campus is in an urban, lively city (this is preference, some like quiet). And like 15 minutes by train to NEW YORK CITY!
5. The parties are better and our football team is on the rise (just kidding).
6. You get more scholarships. I not only get a full ride, but $12,000 back in cash (can't beat that!!!)
7. The campus is very diverse (most in the nation according to the US News).
8. Get to be part of the Honors Program.
There are many more reasons, but I'm tired, hungry, and tired.
The only problem that a few people have is that you have to go to Newark, which is considered a relatively tough city, but so is New Brunswick. Rutgers New Brunswick is the better campus, but they are really improving Newark. New dorms, business school, law school, new buildings - it's the new hotness. Also, you'll end up in Newark for med school - so it's better to be familiar with the city.
There's more, but as I said I'm tired.
Also, J567p, or whoever, New Brunwick is starting a BA/MD program soon. But as of now, they have one where you will be accepted in your Sophomore year of college. It's good as you get to 1. Rutgers New Brunswick and 2. Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and 3. You have one year of your medical tuition waived (which is very nice, like extremely awesome!), but then again, you're not guaranteed a spot.
