@4gsmom By portal, do you mean “my status” on the Rutgers admissions page? It still says “In process.”
My S portal still says audition scheduled. Hasn’t changed for months

@svamom I just talked to Mason Gross Admissions. They said that most call back notifications have gone out, but the late date of L.A. Unified’s have them scrambling to get them finished. They did say to expect an email by the end of the week that says one of 3 things 1) Invitation to call-back week-end 2) Waitlist 3) Denied.

@LIttleEdy that’s interesting—call back, waitlist, or denied? If everyone is receiving one of those 3 responses, does that mean no one will be accepted without a callback this year?
@kidswithcrocs Read into it what you will. The exact words of the woman answering the phones for Mason Gros admissions were, “Most of the call-backs have been sent. Everyone will receive an email by the end of the week with one of the three messages: an invitation to the call back, waitlisted, or denied.”
Just got the email to check status, which was a denial. So Expect to be hearing very soon 
Kinda relieved because scrambling to get a flight would be been a nightmare. Good luck to you esp if this happens to be a #1 choice for you.

It was a top choice, but this lack of organization is giving me a bad feeling. I am not going to be able to afford a flight from the west coast to Newark with a week’s notice. One thing that I promised myself at the beginning of the process is that I would always stay aware of how I was being treated; no matter how prestigious, or how badly I thought I wanted a program.
I agree - I think it’s awful to leave people hanging like this.
@LIttleEdy Oh man. So sorry. We were in the same boat as far as WC for travel. Maybe you will hear and if not maybe this school isn’t where you’re suppose to be. Fingers crossed for you
