As an incoming freshman, I’m thinking to take calculus, expository writing, chemistry with lab, and biology with lab. Contrary to the HPO office of recommendation, should I take chemistry with lab during the summer and psychology instead, in order to decrease my course load and possibly increase my chances of getting high grades?
Taking a lab course in an accelerated summer program is usually not a recipe for success.
