Should I take General Biology and General Chemistry in the Spring or Summer?

I'm a Public Health Major. I'm not particularly too great in biology and chemistry. I'd say solid B from high school. I'm afraid from what I hear how difficult both bio and chem are. I want to know if anyone has taken them and if there are recommendations on whether or not I should take which one's and when.

My options are
- General Chemistry (161) with Rabeony in the Spring at Rutgers
- or Taking Chemistry and Bio in the Summer at Rutgers
- or Taking Chemistry and Bio in the summer at a local Community College (Essex County)

do you recommend transfer credits being the easier option over the summer or taking the classes in the summer at rutgers? Any personal experiences?

If you are pre-med, note that the medical schools supposedly frown on students at four-year schools taking pre-med courses in the summer or at community colleges. The usual assumption is that the summer or community college courses may have less competitive students, although that may not necessarily be true in each case, or the grading may be less inflated to compensate.

Assuming a semester system, note that a summer session is half as long as a regular semester, but you will take half as many courses (but each course covers material twice as fast). At quarter system schools, the summer is like a regular quarter.
