Rutgers. Mason Gross

Any good for voice/choral?
No one hardly mentions it so i decided to advocate its augmenting recognition among music peers.
Pro : It has grown into a marvelous music program, some say it is even better than harvard and yale's music programs.
Their glee club is amazing.
Con: Their academic standards arent' high. What I mean is, it is not prestigious in a overachiever' standards so not much people apply for this program in terms of music education.

For a number of years every single music education graduate has gotten a job right out of college. That speaks very highly of the graduates of MG at Rutgers. The choral program is very strong, and it is lead by Patrick Gardner, formerly at Texas and Michigan, who does quite a bit of conducting in NYC. Currently there are two tenured voice professors (soprano and tenor), two part time voice professors (two sopranos), and they are hiring another full time teacher (probably a baritone).
