do I have a chance?

I think you should be able to get into Rutgers pharm…maybe the SAT is a bit low, but your ECs are very good. GPA is ok…almost the same as mine (unweighted).
Also, keep adding to this thread so more people respond and give their views and info!

Thanks i hope so. how hard are the classes there? do the teachers teach? or do they expect you to learn independently?

I think you have a fair chance, but your stats are on the low side. Honestly, Rutgers seems to put a lot of weight into scores, so I think it’s important to at least have the class rank. Are you top 10% of your HS class? ECs are probably okay, but not all that detailed here.

I was already accepted to Rutgers Pharm, so you’re free to ask me for stat comparisons and stuff.

I’m pretty sure I can get in, but just in case:
GPA: unweighted 3.44 weighted 3.84
SAT: 730 math 690 reading 720 writing, i’m going to take this again in march
PSAT: 217…probably going to get recommended
Rank: 26/462
An entire list of ECs and volunteering
First generation, in state - does that help?
Currently a high school Junior

Do you think I’m going to get in?

@rwhitefangs: I’m not completely sure if you’re able to get in (because I’m OOS, and just got accepted), but you have a decent chance. Your GPA does seem a little bit…low but your ECs seem to make up for it. I would say that your rank seems pretty good, and your SAT will definitely improve if you can get those scores as a junior. Good luck!
