I am in state and a Spanish major applying school of arts and sciences. A lot of people in my school who have applied to same program as me at same time have already gotten an acceptance but me. Wondering if I will be denied because my SAT score is only a little above average. Anyone have any ideas?
GPA: 97.6 (4.0)
SAT: 1540/2400
RANK: 22/345 (top 10%)
I have taken 12 honors classes all together and 2 AP classes ( english and spanish). I am the editor-in-chief of newspaper and a member of National Honors Society. Wrote a really good essay. Losing my mind because this is only school I can afford with a translation and interpretation certificate available. Thank you to anyone who can offer their thoughts!!!
I think you have a decent chance of getting in. Your GPA makes up for your SAT but it still puts you at a disadvantage . What others schools did you apply to because some of my friends were accepted to college of arts and sciences but rejected from others or did you put cas as your only choice. Also being in state is a huge plus. A lot of my friends have yet to hear from Rutgers and have similar stats to you so dont stress out.
yeah I only applied to school of arts and sciences and i applied early action so i should be finding out soon. thank you so much for your help
also i was accepted to Rowan which has a lower acceptance rate than rutgers.
