I’m currently trying to decide between these two schools and I’m having some trouble making a decision. I’m hesitant to go to Rutgers because it’s such an enormous school, while I’m hesitant to go to Ramapo because my sister goes there. I’m not sure which school will fit my academic and social needs better. I’m planning on majoring in biology.

- are they the same price ?
- do you prefer a large or small school (Rutgers is HUGE and Ramapo is tiny!)
- do sports matter to you (Rutgers is a Big Ten and has a huge sports scene, Ramapo is D3, idk how good they are per say, but it's nowhere near as crazy as Rutgers for sports!)
Rutgers has better name recognition, if that matters to you. People (aka employers and other important people for you) will know Rutgers even if they’re from like California! Ramapo is relatively unheard of outside of the NJ? But if you would prefer a smaller school, it wouldn’t be a bad choice! You’d definitely get a very individualized education and get to know your profs better. Rutgers is big but can be made small.
