Hi everyone,

I'm new to this website, so sorry if this has been already posted or it's not detailed enough, but I was looking to transfer to either Ramapo College or Rutgers University, but I'm not sure which I'd like more. I heard that Ramapo has a beautiful campus and is relatively small, which I like. Also, smaller classes are a plus. Rutgers on the other hand has a huge campus and huge classes. The only issue I'd have using the buses to get to classes which I've heard is a pain. I'm also planning on going to med school and I'm sure I'd get in if I went to either one but I wanted to get some opinions on both schools. I haven't visited either campus, and I don't think I can because I have to choose by May 1st. I'm currently going to UMass Amherst, and I don't really like it here. I'm from new jersey and I miss the state a lot. I like the idea of being close to home rather than almost 4 hours away.
I'm not a big party guy, and I'm more focused on my academics and maybe some clubs, however I still want good college experience. I want to be able to do research in the future as well and have a few internships. Will I be able to do this through both schools, or is one better than the other? I'm just not too sure. Also, I know Rutgers has a lot of parties, but are they very distracting around campus?

What are the best and worst parts of both schools and which would you recommend?

In case this helps, I have a 3.7 GPA.

Thanks in advance!
