Rutgers New Brunswick SAS or Newark Business school

hi, i got admitted into School of arts and sciences (New brunswick) and Business school (newark) .. Where should i go? which one of those two is more reputed?

i plan to study for only a year or so and then transfer to Rutgers business school NEW BRUNSWICK or to any other good business school.

and New brunswick is like 10 miles from my house.. so it's easy .. and they have finance, accounting and prebusiness in SAS.(NEw brunswick)

thanks..

No they dont. Those majors are only available in the business school

SAS has Economics
RBS has Accounting, Finance

oh… didn’t know that … so if i want to tranfer to RBS, then will the credits from economics (SAS) be transfered to RBS business?

and don’t students declare a major in their 2nd term in 2nd year?.. if yes, then i could study in SAS and then declare a major in RBS after a year…

Rutgers recently started a 4-year business program as opposed to the 2-year business program. That means they accept students directly into the business school Freshman year. The way it is now, students who are not in the business school (who are in SAS) still have an opportunity to apply to the business school the end of their sophomore year.

Most students who don’t get accepted after their sophomore year end up changing majors or doing economics. Students who are accepted directly into it their freshman year have few advantages (being able to take some business courses sophomore year). Only a couple economics courses are required for a business major.
