Rutgers or Rowan?

I'm planning to major in Biology to become an orthodontist. I'm very outgoing and friendly so im into large crowds.

Two good schools. About the same annual price**. Two different cultures.

Rutgers is big and sprawling and established. You might need a bus or shuttle between classes. You’ll get the feel of a Division 1 football game.

Rowan is smaller, but still about 10,000 students. You’ll walk between classes. It’s up and coming as far as the medical school; there’s a statewide political commitment to it, from both parties. Might double in size in the next 10 years.

**Here’s the major difference, from my experience: I know very few people in my more than 50 years of life that actually got an undergrad degree from Rutgers in 4 years. Rutgers seems to always find a way to keep you the fifth year of undergrad.

Actually the figures are 53% for Rutgers and 62% for Rowan for students graduating with a degree in 4 years.
