OKAY so here's the thing. I applied to 3 schools on the application and got into 2/3 of them; rutgers pharm still says "in process"

at first i didn't think it was a big deal, but then i found out my friend got into all 3 of her schools (including pharm) and she applied after me........

so i'm wondering why i didnt get my decision yet?! could it be because she's an international student? or does this mean i didnt get in..........

cause we basically have the same stats. we both got a 33 on the ACT and i happen to have a lot more extracurriculars than her. but she had a slightly better GPA.

ugh help guys i need to know so i can stop freaking out :(

Well, I’m on the same boat as you. You’re not the only one, so don’t feel bad. Actually some of my friends already got accepted to all 3 choices (including pharmacy) as well. The thing is that SAT/ACT & GPA are the 2 factors that the admissions focus on the most. So that’s probably why your friend got accepted earlier than you.

I read older threads, and many of them heard back in January (& got accepted), so don’t worry so much!

I wondering. Rutgers offers merit scholarship to basically anyone with an sat or its equivalent of an 1950 or higher. So don’t most people who apply and get accepted into the pharmacy program get almost close to a Full ride?

I got in to Rutgers pharm last year and deferred them to do seven year optometry just because I didn’t want to be just a drug dispenser. No offense to pharm people out there. Point being Rutgers is really slow in processing apps and forms in general. I didn’t get a decision from them till Christmas break or around then. I used to do research with the waksman student program they have and they took 3 weeks to process my consent form to get published. No sweat. Relax.
