Rutgers Pharm School Matriculation Concern

I am in a bit of a dilemma and was wondering whether anyone had any pertinent advice or experience in similar situations. I am expecting to be a P1 in the Pharm school next year (akin to my junior year at Rutgers) and I am in the 0+6 pharm program. My problem is that I had to retake Orgo II in the summer on account of failing Orgo II in the spring, and I received a C+ in the course this summer. Rutgers calculates our GPAs to the thousandths decimal place and you are expected to earn a 2.800 in the first 2 pre-professional years (freshman and sophomore years). The C+ that I got this summer brought my cumulative GPA to a 2.799 (haha you couldn't make this up). My question is, do you think the academic standing committee will discipline me based on being a thousandth GPA point away from the 2.8 we are expected to maintain? It is such a miniscule amount that I am missing the 2.8 by that I could have taken a 1 credit seminar class and earned a B in order to get up to the 2.8. My friends and some older students in the Pharm school tell me that I am overreacting and most likely will matriculate without incident, but what do you guys think?
