Rutgers Undergrad Business program is a 2 year program. You're supposed to apply during the Spring (almost positive it's Spring) semester of your sophomore year and if accepted, you start junior year.

There are undergrad programs at both New Brunswick and Newark, and they're separate from one another. Admissions to each is different as is the curriculum a bit. Also, you apply in the fall of your sophomore year. The application this year (and I believe in most years in the past) went up online Nov. 1 and was due by Dec. 15. Decisions are emailed in mid-March.

Admissions Process
Direct Admission from High School: Offers of admission to Rutgers Business Schools UndergraduateNew Brunswick Program (RBSNB) will be made to high-achieving high school students.

I don't understand this..it says "will be made"...so there's no way to apply to it right out of high school?

When I applied in mid-November the undergraduate business school was one of the schools I was allowed to apply to. In my acceptance letter and on my status screen it says I will be eligible to participate in classes as a freshman at the business school. I dont know if this is still the case but thats how it was in November. If you cant find it on the application, you should probably call or email the school because as far as I know they intend to allow "high achieving" underclassmen to take business classes.

The School of Arts and Sciences has a business program right? When I applied (transfer student) the business school wasn't an option but I saw that the School of A&S had business programs

SAS was selected because typically you apply to the business program in your Junior year at College. Based on your GPA, they then decide whether to accept or reject you. Anyone who applies to the business school enters into SAS where you fill out your graduation requirements for your first 2 years

thanks for the reply Maas0890. Because when I first did the application I got nervous as there wasn't the business school, but when I looked around I saw the SAS had a business program but I wasn't 100% sure.

yeah, I know what you mean. I applied for the business school at NB as my first choice and when I checked my status it had 'School of Arts and Sciences'. I freaked out for a while. So after I emailed admissions, they explained why, which left my saying "Doh!" since I had heard it before but hastily forgot. And you're more than welcome.

So anyone knows how exactly the application process for RBS in NB works? I applied for The School of Arts and Sciences as I was supposed. I'm still waiting for their decision. But then, they told me that after I am accepted I have to submit another application in August to the actual business school. They have hardly any info on the web, which is frustrating.

BTW, I am transfer and going to junior year.
