SAT scores may be little short. They only offer honors to top 7% and this year competition is super high.
You’ll probably get in the honors “program” for the specific school(s) you applied to, borderline on the “honors college” I’d say.
My son was already accepted and hoping for honors. Is it necessary to update the SRAR with a mid year report of senior grades?
Does anyone know what the chances are of getting admitted after being deferred from Early Action?
In state, chances would be higher. OOS, depends on GPA
Has anyone sent AP scores to Rutgers. They don’t show up in the portal. Is there a way to verify that they got them?
How do you self report mid-term grades I don’t even see it as an option.
Regular decision results are slowly releasing business school Brunswick rejected me today
So sorry to hear that! Would you be willing to share your stats so other’s can be prepared as well!
Yep, portal just updated for us too…. Was previously admitted to SEBS. Was deferred to RD for Nursing and SAS.
As of today, portal updated, rejected for Nursing and waitlisted for SAS.
Any idea when students hear back about waitlist decisions???
Not specific to Rutgers: but typically colleges start picking off the waitlist after the May 1 national commitment date because they’ll know by then whether they will meet their enrollment target. Occasionally a school might go to the waitlist a little earlier (mid April, for example) if they already know their enrollment will fall short. But this is far less common.
Hang in there, and good luck.
D23 accepted EA to L&S and Environmental and Biological Sciences per the website. We have not received anything in the mail yet and don’t know about merit or financial aid. Has anyone else heard? Thx
Is there a separate Admitted Students Day for the Business School?
My son just got something in the mail today
If we add a school to our application, how long do you think it will take until we hear back. I realize it is late in the admit cycle, but my son may have had a change of heart for his major.
If the student is invited for Newark honors college, will the student be considered for New Brunswick as well? Or does Rutgers restricts the invitation to honors college to only one of their schools? This is with the assumption that student has met the stats for honors college in both campuses
Both are separate and student will be considered for honors in both.
thanks
Is Honor College (not Program) major specific within the school or for the school population at large (i.e. is the threshold different for Math vs Psychology).
And is admission top 7% based entirely on test scores, or “holistic” or some formula of grades and scores and if the latter anyone know which is weighted more between grades and test scores?
