<p>I'd be doing Business if I went to either of these schools, maybe finance. JMU is more of a Rural area, while Rutgers New Brunswick is about 30 miles from NYC.</p>

<p>JMU is a good school. But Rutgers holds more prestige in academics. I believe the social life might be quite a bit better at JMU though. But if it boils down to quality of the school, Rutgers is the one in this case.</p>
<p>Rutgers does seem to be more presitigious, but do consider the cost- do you have scholarships at either/both? It’s not something to be ignored.</p>
