essays and recs will probably be my strong point

wow, that’s pretty impressive. You seem to have done a lot of amazing things over the past few summers and the research at universities is a definite plus! I’d say you have a good shot, but stanford is random and is a crapshoot, so don’t feel bad if you get rejected.

Thanks for posting this 6 times. Your chances aren’t going to improve if you keep making new threads.

You have decent stats, but your ECs don’t exactly scream “engineering”, are a bit too scattered, and don’t show loads of leadership. You have decent chances, certainly above the norm.

Now, breathe, go back to school, and wait 2 months.

You should probably try to work your GPA up to a 95. Your EC’s look pretty good, but you might want to add more volunteering/programs that weave moreso into the field of study you’d like to pursue.

thank you for the feedback! many of my essays and recs actually pertain to my love for math and experiences with engineering, so i think the app will seem more focused than as presented here

Your ECs are very impressive and seem to be focused heavily on both writing and engineering. The combination of those two interests is unique, which should help you stand out. Your ACT score is excellent as is your senior schedule. For a weighted GPA, yours is a bit low, but I’m not sure of your school, so I can’t really judge that.
Stanford is probably one of the most random with admissions, but I’d say you have as good a shot as anyone.

You look great except that your ECs don’t show an obvious “passion”. I still encourage you to apply, however. Stanford is a reach for EVERYONE.
