Sad rejects?

Hiiiii Lord Jeffs!

So, ever since I was rejected from Amherst (boo hoo), I still can’t help but glaze over the Amherst threads.

I guess this thread is for all others who do the same to post. And I know you guys are out there…because you told me.

:D

All that got accepted and are going to Amherst, best of luck! I might be seeing some of you since I’m going to SMITH! :)

Oh snaps! I do the same thing as you MM…

…but you already knew that ;)

Haha I do that occasionally too, however sad that sounds.

I do that occasionally…but I think I’ll be just fine in good old Minnesota :)

Amherst took NOBODY off the waiting list this year…did they overenroll or something? Just curious.

I think they did. One of the guys (I forget who exactly he was) told prospies jokingly during the President’s welcoming speech that we should consider taking a gap year. I wish that not so many amazing people were rejected/waitlisted, but…c’est la vie. College admissions are complicated and sometimes a pain.

Very true. It’s such a crapshoot anyway that bvy the time I got the waitlist letter, I really wasn’t that fussed…

miss_murd3R, sorry about Amhest but congrats on Smith! My BF went to Amherst (way way long ago, and his twin sisters went to Smith and loved it! I’m sure the invite is still open from my D, so you can come over and attend a party there. They have one every weekend, so it wont be hard to fit in your schedule. Are you still on FB with her?

LOL MM I LOVE THiS THREAD.

I don’t really haunt this forum anymore, I’m just as obsessed with Smith as I once was with Amherst :). I’ll be going to the Herst a lot though :D
