<p>Has anyone applied for SAFE housing or any of the explorations floors?</p>
<p>I was thinking about doing SAFE, because I don't drink and want to get to know people who aren't into the bar scene, but I'm afraid I'll be surrounded by really uptight people. Does anyone know what kind of people are usually on those floors?</p>
<p>Also with explorations, some of them sounded really cool, but are they a big time commitment? The brochure made it sound like there was alot of stuff you had to do with your floor (outings, producing a tv show etc).</p>
<p>Does anyone know anything about the NYU TV exploration? Like, how involved it is, what activities you do, etc. Also, how involved is the residential tv show thingy? I'm really confused, so I'd like to hear from anyone. Thanks!!</p>
<p>If I were you, which i sorta am... i mean i'm in ur same situation...haha... i wouldn't do SAFE...i do not drink either and do not plan on it, but i would like to get to know everyone and not limit myself to one group of people. cuz, u know, isnt nyu all about diversity and getting to know different people? </p>
<p>but either way, im sure the SAFE thing would be really cool, but just know that theres one more person doing normal housing who will not be drinking either. :) !</p>
<p>LOL, you say that "diversity" stuff now - wait til you get to college and live down the hall from a drunkard/constant partyer....See how much diversity you want then, LOL take it from someone who's experienced it.</p>
