Hey I got all my scores and transcripts in about a week ago and was wondering if i'm safety for UCF. A bunch of my friends got in and they have a lot lower test scores and GPA etc so I was wondering if there's any way I can be denied.

GPA: 3.6 UW/ 4.0 W
SAT: 690 Math/ 530 CR/ 610 Writing (1220/1830)
Courses: In AP Calculus AB, AP Psychology, AP Gov + Pol, and Dual Enrollment College Algebra this year. Passed the AP Macroeconomics exam last year.
Also my grades are in a very upward trend from freshman year. I have approximately a 4.4 GPA for my first semeser this year.
EC: Varsity Tennis for 3 years (10, 11, 12), Varsity Academic Team (Won 1st place in our county), NHS, Mu Alpha Theta.
I'm a white male and I live in Florida by the way.
Thanks :)

Almost definitely in. I had similar stats to you (660 math, 610 reading, 3.8 UW/4.2 W) and got in as well getting offered the Pegasus scholarship. You should be set, I know much lower numbers that got in.

its a type of scholarship they offer. there are 3 levels: bronze, silver and gold, earning you i believe $650, $1000, $1250 a semester respectively for all 4 years. You are automatically considered for the scholarship when you apply to UCF so there is no separate application. I got the silver and if I remember correctly information on it came with my acceptance letter package, but not positive on that one.

Well like I said your stats are similar to mine (I had a 1270 SAT instead of 1220 and my W and UW GPA was a bit higher) and I got silver, so if anything you would get silver. I’m not sure if there is an exact cut off at any particular levels, all I know is that all my friends who broke 1300 got the gold, which makes me mad that I didn’t go for the SAT a third time. Once I got 1270 on the second shot and had my 100% Bright Futures locked up I didn’t wanna see the SAT ever again lol.
