Safety, match or reach?

Posted this in another section but think it fits better here oops…

I’m a junior just starting my college search and I’m having trouble grouping schools into safe, match and reach schools . I live in New York State however out of state tuition will not be an issue.

Schools:
University at Buffalo
SUNY Fredonia
Boston University
Syracuse University
SUNY Binghamton
Temple
Penn State
University of Michigan
University of Rochester
Rutgers
Fordham

GPA:3.8
SAT: 1250

I’m a full IB diploma student
I’ve taken 7 AP classes and 5 IB classes
My school is nationally recognized for challenging curriculum and strong academics

I will be the first in my family to attend college

ECs: ~150 hours of community service, dancer for 13 years (ranked 12th in the region), band, key club, mock trial, pre-law club

My intended major is Business Administration

I think you will get into lots of those schools. Your sat seems somewhat low, so I’d take it again if I were you. Obviously schools like Michigan will be reaches, but you seem to have a pretty good list going.

Rochester has been successfully shadowing Chicago for the quirky nerdy types. Your numbers make that one a reach. Does it even offer business classes? Otherwise you’ve put together a solid list. I haven’t looked at the SUNYs recently but Binghamton would be the hardest of the 3 and still should be a safety. I agree with the first post that Michigan is also a reach. For BU it depends on which school there you are applying to.
